I have been associated with RCCB in administrative capacity for the last 10 years’ in some form or the other. During my tenure it has always been my desire to transform our small and succinct bank into a major player within the two districts that encompasses our banking operations. Today I proudly state that our bank is one of the top most priority sector lenders in Uttar and Dakshin Dinajpur .When I was introduced to the banking doctrines all those years ago it was a common concept that banking is for the rich and the privileged and top class banking service does not come cheap .Our relentless work in financial inclusion and our close ties with the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies has resulted in fruition and we can claim that we thwarted the menace of loan sharks and “Mahajans” that used to ravage the lives of our farmer brethren .Being an advocate of Women’s Empowerment myself and buoyed by our dedicated loan department we take pride in the fact that we made a difference in the lives of countless rural women and made them financially independent under our SHG program . We work closely with the State Department and Central regulatory departments to uphold all the banking norms. Our 75-year-old bank is financially sound and ready to step into the next gen of banking. We achieved a lot in these years and a lot is left to achieve. I invite everyone to be a part of this journey and experience a true smart banking with cooperation.
